Hello from Washington!

Hello from Washington!

Collectively, this was all of our scarfs, from the trio!
I hope that everyone's week has been amazing! I have heard from many people that good o’l Arizona is raining and cold... It made my day to know that we were all trudging through the same weather :) This has been an interesting week. One of my harder ones but also very rewarding! I got emergency Transferred back to James Hill YSA with a sister who just came back to the mission! Her name is Sister Skousen! She is originally from Arizona so we have been trying to figure out common people we would know. So far no luck but it will happen :)

I have felt like I have been a rag doll being thrown from the cottage, to Auburn, to Kent, in a trio and back to the cottage. I hope that I never have to move again but I think that is not a wish that will be able to have so I’ll just grin and bear it :D

The work has been slowing down and it has been making me think constantly of what we need to do to get everything up and moving again. I was praying a lot for help to find a new investigator to teach. We have been trying everything and no one was progressing. We were at church yesterday and I just kept asking what we needed to do and selfishly wanting our Heavenly Father to just give us a new investigator... sometimes he does answer our pleas in the way we want! After relief society we met one of our member’s friends. Her name is Lauren and she had been meeting with the missionaries in Skyway for the past couple weeks! She told us she was more interested in being in the YSA ward and asked if we could teach her instead! We feel bad about taking the elders investigator but... WE SAID YESSS! She has a baptismal date for March 4th! I have never needed something like that to happen more than I did yesterday! I know that God is good and if it be His will he will give us the things we ask him for!

Any who, Washington is still Washington! There has been some upheaval because the Seahawks lost their big game. People are mourning about it but I rejoiced!! My prayers wear answered! People here won’t talk to you if the game is on and they will bail out of church and all things good if the Seahawks are playing. So many blessings are coming about! :) ha ha!

Sister Skousen and I crashed a wedding the other night. We went to the church to go to the bathroom and fill up our water bottles and these people were having a reception and we just walked right in not knowing about it! Luckily I sorta knew the couple and they were all good with it but we got some strange looks from some of the guests! It made for some great memories though so no biggy :)

Well, I love you all so much. I just want each of you to know that I KNOW that this gospel is good and true. It blesses lives and people can have pure Joy because of the sacrifice our Savior and Brother made for each of us! I hope that you all take the time to share your testimony with someone! I have come to love the Book of Mormon even more than ever being here on this mission! I challenge you all to make it a part of your daily life! I promise you that if you read each day, you will receive the daily guidance needed to make it through the trials of your life! I love each of you and I hope your week is amazing!!

Love sister Reynolds
